On Monday the 17 August 2015 at about 9.50pm two men entered the service station on Dynon Road in West Melbourne and enquired about oil for their motor vehicle. One of the male offenders then grabbed the shop attendant in a headlock and wrestled him to the ground while the other offender removed cash from the counter. Both men then assaulted the shop attendant before fleeing the Service Station and running down Lloyd Street. Melbourne Embona Taskforce Police are investigating the robbery.
