On Friday 17th October 2014 at around 6.45 pm two men entered an ice cream shop on Point Nepean Road in Rye with one offender pushing aside one of the two female staff before grabbing the till and running from the shop.

The following day, at around 2.30 pm, two men entered a shop located inside the McCombe Street Shopping Centre in Rosebud and stole money from the cash register before fleeing from the store.

Rosebud police believe the same offenders are responsible for both robberies. The offenders were described as both being Caucasian with one having a heavily tattooed left hand.
