On the 5th January 2021 about 5.30am police were informed by a resident that an unknown male was acting suspiciously outside a nearby home on Mitchells Street in Moe. A group of men then allegedly confronted the man and a serious assault occurred.
A 31-year-old Moe man was airlifted to hospital in Melbourne where he remains in a critical condition.
A 41-year-old Moe man and a 19-year-old Orbost man have been charged with intentionally cause serious injury and intentionally cause serious injury in circumstances of gross violence. They have been remanded to appear at Latrobe Magistrates’ Court today. A 43-year-old Moe man has been charged with recklessly cause serious injury and bailed to appear at court at a later date.
