On Monday the 29th July 2013 at around midnight a nineteen-year-old female had just got off a train at the Clayton Railway Station and was walking home along Lillian Street when she was approached by the unknown male assailant. The assailant grabbed her from behind covering her mouth with his hand before sexually assaulting her. The teenage female victim managed to scream for help and the assailant fled. Box Hill Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team (SOCIT) are investigating the assault.
