On the 29-05-14 at around 3.50 pm a sixteen-year-old female was walking through a railway underpass near Victoria Street in Seymour when she noticed an adult male jogging towards her. The male ran straight at the young female victim and grabbed her around her neck and forced her towards a wall where he proceeded to sexually assault her. The teenage victim managed to fight off the assailant before fleeing and contacting the police. The assailant was described as having strawberry blonde curly hair and aged in his late thirties to mid forties and wearing a grey hooded windcheater. Seymour SOCIT and Mitchell CIU are investigating the assault.
