On the evening of the 17-04-13 a female aged in her twenties was shot in Avondale Heights. At around 9.30 pm the injured female and two males presented at a service station in Military Road in Avondale Heights and the police an ambulance were called. The injured female was then taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital with serious injuries and is in a critical condition. Two men in their twenties believed to be known to the female victim have since been arrested.
