On Sunday the 13th April 2014 at around 3.00 am it is believed that the male bumped into a motor vehicle as it was travelling through the intersection of Elizabeth and Latrobe Streets in the Melbourne CBD. It is alleged that the driver then got out of his motor vehicle and confronted a group of males before producing a firearm and shooting one of the males to the chest and then drove off. The twenty-six-year-old victim was treated at the Royal Melbourne Hospital for serious injuries.
