On the 17-11-15 at around 6.30 pm a male offender wearing a balaclava walked into a Springvale Road supermarket and jumped the counter and threatened staff with a drill. As the female attendants struggled to open the cash registers the offender slapped and punched them. The offender then fled from the supermarket with a large amount of cash chased by several staff members. The offender was believed to be of African appearance, aged in his twenties and with a slim build.
