On the 13-08-12 at around 1.10 pm a male assailant of African appearance aged around forty-years entered a home in Springvale South where he proceeded to physically and sexually assault the thirty-five-year-old female resident. The female victim screamed at which time the assailant fled and she sustained only minor physical injuries but was significantly emotionally distressed.
