On the 28-02-20 at about 5.15am a stabbing occurred at a residence on Breens Road in Cranbourne West. The victim, a 38-year-old man, was transported to hospital in a serious condition. Police officers from the Southern Metro Fugitive Team and Casey Crime Investigation Unit subsequently arrested three people in relation to an alleged stabbing at a motel on the South Gippsland Highway. The trio were taken to a nearby police station where a 28-year-old man from Cranbourne was charged with two counts of intentionally cause serious injury, two counts of recklessly cause serious injury, two counts of theft of motor vehicle and breaching an intervention order and remanded to appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court.
A 31-year-old man from Berwick is expected to be charged on summons for theft of motor vehicle and 21-year-old woman from Bairnsdale is expected to charged on summons for assault and theft of motor vehicle.
