On Monday 9 March 2020 at around 2am two men were involved in an altercation at a licensed premises on Bay Street. A 36-year-old man was stabbed and taken to hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries. Port Phillip Crime Investigation Unit detectives have since arrested a 26-year-old man in Port Melbourne who is currently assisting police with their enquires.
