On Friday the 02-11-12 at around 2.30 am a twenty-two-year-old Taxi Driver was assaulted and attempted to be robbed by a thirty-three-year-old male assailant in South Melbourne. Police arrived promptly at the scene and arrested the assailant after a short foot pursuit. The taxi driver received only minor injuries.
