On the 13-07-12 at around 9.30 pm a male and a female got into a taxi and told the Taxi Driver not to put the metre on as they were only travelling a short distance. The Taxi Driver refused the fair and asked them to get out at which time the male leaned over the seat and punched the Taxi Driver several times to his face while his female accomplice stole his coin bag. The assailants fled as other taxi drivers came to the victim’s aid.
