On the 30-12-14 at around 10.15 pm a male entered a supermarket on Station Street in Thomastown armed with a hammer. The offender swung the hammer at the shop assistant attempting to steal money from the till. The offender then fled the store empty-handed running down a side laneway. The shop assistant was not physically injured.
