On the 19-01-15 just after 7.00am a male aged in his thirties went outside his home on Clarke Street in Thomastown to speak with a female when he was attacked by two men armed with a firearm and a machete. The male victim sustained multiple stab wounds and was treated in hospital
Earlier that same morning, at around 5.30am, a twenty-six-year-old male from Lalor drove to an address on Lido Court in Epping to see a known female when he was approached by an unknown man who stabbed him in the arm and stomach stealing his phone and car keys before fleeing in a motor vehicle. The victim sustained only minor injuries and was treated in hospital.
