Investigators have been told that on the 18-06-20 at about 9.00 pm two offenders gained entry to the Gwalia Street residence and assaulted the victim, leaving a a 37-year-old Traralgon woman with serious injuries who was taken to hospital where she remains in a critical condition.

A 19-year-old man and 26-year-old woman were arrested a short time later, both remain in custody assisting police with their enquiries. It is believed all parties are known to each other.
