At around 5.15 am on the 12th February 2014 a nineteen-year-old female was walking towards the Sandown Park Railway Station in Noble Park when a motor vehicle containing two males pulled up in front of her. The male passenger alighted from the motor vehicle and began running towards her and threatening her. The teenage female victim managed to run away and flag down a male motorist who stopped and provided assistance. The male offender then stopped chasing the victim and ran back to his motor vehicle which then drove off. The offenders’ motor vehicle was described as being a dark colored sedan with tinted windows and no registration plates. Police are appealing for anyone witnesses to the incident to come forward.
Stabbing – Broadmeadows Railway Station
On Tuesday the 11th February 2014 at around 3.30 pm a fourteen year old boy was stabbed at the Broadmeadows Railway Station. The young male victim sustained serious leg injuries and was treated at the Royal Children’s Hospital. Police have since charged a sixteen-year-old male with intentionally cause serious injury and was bailed to appear before a children’s court.
Armed Robbery – Bendigo
On Wednesday the 12-02-14 just after 10.00 pm a male offender entered a restaurant in High Street Bendigo wearing a balaclava and a white jumpsuit. The offender then produced a firearm and demanded cash from the staff before fleeing on foot with a quantity of cash. Bendigo Police are appealing for witnesses.
Stalking – Forest Hill
On Friday the 07-02-14 a twenty-six-year-old man from Doncaster was arrested and charged by police following stalking incidents in Forest Hill on the 01-02-14. The charges relate to incidents outside the Forest Hill cinema involving two young girls aged nine and thirteen years. The offender was bailed to appear at Ringwood Magistrate’s Court in May. It is believed that the pair are known to each other.
Assault – Lynbrook Shopping Centre
On the morning of Friday the 07-02-14 a twenty-four-year-old Dandenong North woman was assaulted at the Lynbrook Shopping Centre. The following morning police charged a twenty-five-year-old Noble Park man with kidnapping, false imprisonment, intentionally cause injury and recklessly cause injury along with breaching an intervention order. Bail was refused and he offender was remanded in custody to appear before the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court.
