Aggravated Burglary – Reservoir
On Tuesday the 14-01-14 around 6.2am three offenders armed with a firearm and a crow bar forced entry through the rear door of a Bolderwood Parade home in Reservoir. The intruders kicked in the bedroom door of a thirteen-year-old and demanded money. A thirty-year-old female approached the intruders in a hallway and was struck to the head causing a laceration to her forehead. A nine-year-old girl and a thirty-five-year-old woman were also in the house at the time of the aggravated burglary. Preston police are investigating the incident.
Armed Robbery – McDonald’s Restaurant in Euroa
On the 12-12-13 at around 12:45 am a masked man, armed with a hunting knife, entered the Euroa McDonald’s store via a rear door and threatened the manager. The offender gestured with the knife for cash to be placed into a black sports bag before he fled on foot. Police said that the robbery occurred at a busy truck stop on the Hume Freeway and they are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
