Canadians are walking from Vancouver to Toronto, about 4,700 kms, in an attempt to promote victim’s rights. One walker, Rob Skelly, said that: “The victims’ rights and the offenders’ rights are very unbalanced, and what we’re trying to do is make Canadians aware of that and give victims a voice.”
If anyone in Australia is interested in promoting victims’ rights please contact Victims of Crime Counselling & Compensation Services for assistance and support on 1800 000 055.
