On Wednesday the 03-09-14 at around 4.30 am an offender broken into a home on Rhinds Road in Wallington. During the burglary the offender was disturbed by a sixteen-year-old girl who was assaulted and the offender then fled. The teenage victim suffered a serious cut to her forearm together with other minor injuries and was treated at the Geelong Hospital. The offender was described as being between twenty to thirty years of age, tall and with a thin build and was wearing dark tracksuit pants and a hooded top. Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen a white Toyota Camry sedan parked on Rhinds Road at the time of the incident.
