On Friday the 14-08-15 at around 6.00 pm a sixteen year old girl was sitting on a park bench in Queens Street Park when she was approached by a male aged around twenties years. The teenage girl was taken into the nearby public toilets where she was sexually assaulted. The offender was described as being Caucasian, 170cm tall, with short brown hair and medium build wearing dark coloured pants and a dark coloured hooded jumper. Central Gippsland SOCIT detectives are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
