On the 16-11-12 at around 5.45 am a twenty-six-year-old female walked into her Essendon home from her back yard to be confronted by a male assailant in her bedroom who sexually assaulted her before fleeing. The assailant is described as being aged between his mid to late twenties and of Southern European appearance. Fawkner SOCAU detectives are asking for public assistance.
