On Friday the 23-11-12 at around 12:45 am a male offender wearing a balaclava attempted to hold up a service station on Torquay Road in Grovedale. The offender soon realized that the entrance door was locked and then moved to the window where he produced a knife and motioned to the shop assist the cash register. The offender was again refused entry and then fled.
