On the 24th May 2013 at around 10.20 pm a confrontation arose between two groups of men at the Woori Yallock Hotel in the Yarra Ranges resulting in a male being kicked to the head and lost consciousness and was treated at the Maroondah Hospital. Yarra Ranges CIU police are appealing for witnesses.
