On the 13-06-13 at around 8.50 am police were called to a home on Marilyn Court in Blackburn North together with members of the Critical Incident Response Team. Just before midday a female was released from the home suffering physical injuries and was taken to hospital. At around 3.00 pm a fifty-five-year-old male was arrested following police negotiations. Police later located a firearm at the property.
