On Sunday the 1st September 2013 at around 12.40 am an argument broke out between four men waiting at a taxi rank outside a hotel on Wellington Parade in East Melbourne. One of the males was punched to the head and face and knocked to the ground where he was kicked several times to the head. During the attack the second offender punched the victim’s friend several times to the face. One of the victims suffered a broken eye socket while the other received minor facial injuries. Police are appealing for witnesses to the assault and have released CCTV footage of the incident.
