On Friday 17th August 2018 at around 8.20pm a thirty-four-year-old female parked her car in the garage of her Habitat Court home in Tarneit when she was followed inside by four males who proceeded to ransack her home. One of the offenders produced a machete and punched the woman to the face before making demands for her vehicle who then sped off in the vehicle while the other three offenders fled on foot. The victim sustained facial injuries and was treated at the scene. Her car, a black Hyundai Elantra sedan with registration ART775, remains outstanding. The four youths are perceived as African in appearance.
