On Saturday the 29-12-12 at around 6.00 pm two assailants armed with guns and with stockings over their heads threatened customers and staff at the Supre fashion store in Broadmeadows before stealing cash and clothing.
One hour later on the same day, at around 7.00 pm, three assailants armed with a sword, meat cleaver and timber plank robbed the Dan Murphy Liquor Store at the Burvale Hotel in Nunawading stealing the cash register draw and cigarettes.
