Just after midnight on 31 August 2018 a dark-coloured Toyota Coupe containing three men pulled up alongside a male on High Street in Glen Iris. Two males got out of the car and grabbed the victim, causing him to fall to the ground. The victim’s keys were stolen and he sustained minor injuries. The offenders then returned to the car and drove west along High Street, towards Malvern. The first offender is perceived to be Middle Eastern in appearance, aged in his 30’s, about 175cm tall, solid build with short dark hair and a trimmed beard, wearing dark-coloured pants and shoes. The second is Caucasian in appearance, about 185cm tall, thin build with short dark hair, wearing dark-coloured clothing. And the third man is Caucasian in appearance, about 185cm tall, thin build, wearing a rain coat-type jacket, dark-coloured pants and white casual shoes. Police are appealing for witnesses.
