On Monday the 25th February at around 7.30 pm an assailant armed with an axe confronted a thirty-two-year-old male victim in parkland near Hewish Road in Croydon. The assailant demanded cash and when the victim reported that he did not have any the assailant fled only to be arrested a short time later by Protective Service Officers at the Croydon Railway Station.
