On the 19-05-18 at around 7.30 pm three unknown men attended a shop on Hemmings Street in Dandenong, one male carrying a metal pole, who threatened the employee before striking the pole on the counter. One of the employees, a forty-seven-year-old man, attempted to fight the offenders off with a pole used to operate window shutters. A short scuffle then ensued before the three male offenders fled the scene stealing only chocolates and cigarettes. The offenders were all Caucasian, aged between eighteen to thirty-years-old and wearing dark clothing with facial coverings. The male employee was injured and received some serious but non-life threatening injuries as a result of the confrontation.
