On Tuesday the 04-12-12 at around 11.45 am a fifty-seven-year-old man was approached in the car park of the Epping Shopping Centre by a male in his twenties with a New Zealand accent who asked for a cigarette. When the victim went to give the assailant a cigarette the assailant demanded money but was refused and the assailant then slashed the victim to his face with a razor sharp object before fleeing on a black bicycle.
