On Wednesday 11 September 2013 at around 6.30 pm a masked male assailant armed with a machete entered the Tallintyre Road Supermarket in Sunshine and demanded cash. One of the staff members quickly handed over an amount of cash to the assailant whom then fled. Police are appealing for anyone who noticed the offender loitering outside the supermarket just prior to the incident to contact them.
