On Tuesday the 18-12-12 at around 3.00 pm a seventeen-year-old female was walking from a bus stop along Canterbury Road in Box Hill South when she was approached from behind by an unknown male of Asian appearance aged in his mid twenties who indecently assaulted her.

Since August of this year eight similar crimes have occurred in the Eastern Suburbs with the police expressing concerns that the attacks may escalate.
