On the 04-06-17 at around 2.50 pm an eleven-year-old girl was walking with her mother and brother towards a Collins Street theatre in the Melbourne CBD when an unknown male in his forties walking in the opposite direction put his hand under her skirt and grabbed her on the buttock before crossing the road. The young victim quickly reported the incident to her mother who confronted the offender, taking pictures of him, before reporting the incident to police. Melbourne SOCIT detectives are investigating the indecent assault.
