On the 28-10-14 at around 5.30 am an intruder gained entry into a home on Lorraine Crescent in Jacana via a back door. A fifty-one-year-old male resident was awoken when the offender entered his bedroom and a physical confrontation ensued during which the male victim sustained lacerations to his chest and chin. Two others were home at the time but did not sustain any physical injuries. The offender fled with a laptop computer. Hume CIU detectives are appealing for anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area to contact them.
