On Wednesday the 20-08-14 at around 9.30 pm a female entered a car park lift on Lonsdale Street in the Melbourne CBD followed by an unknown male who stood behind her. The male proceeded to indecently assault the female and she managed to push him away and exit the lift followed by the assailant who again attempted to touch her. The female victim then managed to flee by getting back into the lift and closing the doors. The assailant was described as being of Asian appearance and of thin build and short black hair. Melbourne SOCIT police are appealing for witnesses following an indecent.
