On Sunday the 18-11-12 at around 11.20 pm a security guard was stabbed to the neck outside a licensed premises in the Melbourne CBD. Other security staff came to the victim’s aid and restrained the forty-two-year-old assailant until police arrived and he was arrested. The twenty three year old security guard sustained lacerations to his neck and was treated at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
