On the 6th March at around 12.30 am a male offender approached a security guard near the centre management office at the Narre Warren shopping centre on Princes Highway. The offender then attacked the victim punching and kicking him before stealing cigarettes and fleeing the scene. The fifty-two-year-old security guard suffered facial injuries. The offender was described as being aged in his early thirties, Caucasian, around 180cm tall with a thin build.
