On the 07-04-15 at around 6.00 am a male offender entered the convenience store on Springvale Road in Nunawading and perused some magazines before approaching the counter and threatened the staff person with a screw driver demanding money. The staff person handed over a small amount of cash and the offender then fled on foot towards Burnt Street. Box Hill Embona detectives are investigating the armed robbery and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
