On Sunday the 2nd June 2013 at around 12.15 am several men were asked to leave a private function held at the Footscray Club on the corner of Farnsworth Avenue and Myers Road because of their behaviour. When the men refused to leave they were forcibly ejected and went on to damage property including smashing the windows of fifteen motor vehicles parked in the club’s car park. Club members then came outside into the car park and an altercation ensued which resulted in two men being conveyed to hospital, one suffering a nasal fracture and the other abrasions.
