On Thursday the 16-08-12 at around 10.00 pm a forty-six-year-old man and a thirty-one-year-old female were waiting at Southern Road bus stop in Heidelberg when they were approached by the four male assailants. The male victim was struck with an iron bar and fell to the ground at which time the assailants attacked the female, striking her to the face, before stealing money and then fleeing in a red motor vehicle.
