On the 12-05-13 at around 12.45 am a twenty-two-year-old male was pursued by an unknown male offender on a bike from the car park of the Mentone Hotel. The offender soon caught up to the victim threatening him with physical violence and demanding his mobile phone. The victim handed over his phone and the assailant fled riding his bike down Beach Road. Kingston CIU police are investigating the matter and appealing for witnesses.
