On Sunday the 19-05-13 at around 6.30 am a twenty-four-year-old female was walking through the Melbourne CBD when she was approached by an unknown male who proceeded to sexually assault her before fleeing. The female victim was treated at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. The assailant is described as being of Mediterranean appearanceand aged twenty-six to twenty-eight years. Melbourne SOCIT police are appealing for any witnesses.
