On Saturday the 07-02-15 at around 11.35 the twenty-four-year-old male victim was sitting with a female friend along Marine Parade in St Kilda when an unknown man and female walked passed. The unknown male then confronted the victim and with no apparent cause proceeded to stab him to his neck, back and shoulders before running off towards Acland Street. The victim was treated at the Alfred hospital with serious injuries. The offender was described as being Caucasian, about 170cm tall and of skinny build with a gaunt face, straight blonde hair and spoke with an English accent. St Kilda detectives are appealing for public assistance to identify the offender.
