On Saturday the 29-12-12 at around 10.40 pm a sixteen-year-old boy was confronted by a group of Asian males outside a house in Gordon Street Footscray and subsequently stabbed to his abdomen and wrist. The teenage boy was treated at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
A short time later a fifteen-year-old boy was stabbed multiple times at a fast food restaurant car park in nearby Ballarat Road Footscray following an altercation with a large group of males. The teenage victim was treated at the Royal Children’s Hospital.
Police from the Maribyrnong CIU believe the same assailants may be responsible for both incidents.
