On the 17-09-15 at around 9.30 am a twenty-eight-year-old female returned to her motor vehicle parked in the car park of a fast food restaurant on Heatherdale Road in Ringwood when an unknown woman jumped into the front passenger seat and ordered her to drive. An altercation then ensured during which the female driver was stabbed several times to her upper body by the assailant before the female assailant fled on foot running south along Heatherdale Road. The female victim was not seriously injured. Maroondah detectives are appealing for information regarding the incident and asking for anyone who witnessed the incident or has information about the offender to come forward. The offender was described as being aged in her mid thirties, around 160cm and with dark skin and was wearing a navy blue hooded jumper.
