On Wednesday the 16th January 2012 at around 1.50 am a twenty-two-year-old male was sitting on a fence in St. Kilda when he was approached by an unknown female and a verbal dispute arose. The victim was then confronted by a male aged in his thirties and as he tried to walk away he was slashed to the neck, back and arm. He victim was treated at The Alfred Hospital. Detectives from the St Kilda CIU are calling for any witnesses to come forward.
