On the 30-10-12 at around 7.00 pm a thirty-four-year old male victim was violently assaulted at a St Kilda Rooming House by several male assailants. The victim sustained serious head injuries and was unconscious when paramedics arrived and was treated at The Alfred Hospital. One assailant has been charged to date.

On the same day at around 7.15 pm a male victim was stabbed twice, once to his chest and once to his arm, near the St Kilda pier. It is believed that the assailant approached the victim taunting him before a scuffle ensued during which the victim was stabbed. The victim sustained serious injuries and was also taken to the Alfred Hospital.
