On the 01-02-13 at around 5.50 pm a twenty-four-year-old woman was walking through Prahran when a male assailant grabbed her from behind by the shoulder with one hand and sexually assaulted her with the other. The victim managed to free herself and confront the assailant who then fled. The assailant was described as being of Southern European appearance and aged in his mid forties. Moorabbin SOCIT detectives are asking for witnesses.
